Evidence.Support uses PGP encryption to immediately encrypt the contents of each report in the user’s browser, then emails the encrypted information to a Proton Mail account stored on servers in Switzerland where the data is PGP encrypted again with a second key, and protected by multi-factor authentication. No data is stored on the web servers of Evidence.Support itself.
All submissions made to Evidence.Support are understood to have been made in preparation for legal use and are therefore protected under the doctrine of litigation privilege. Evidence.Support will only release reports with the express consent of the author, or following the author’s death.
Evidence.Support is a service of PolicyTalk Canada Inc. Site design and technical implementation by PolicyTalk Executive Director Nicholas Cotton; the trauma informed interview guide was designed by Bruce Pitt-Payne (BruceGPittPayne@gmail.com BrucePittPayne.ca).
